Governor José María de Letona passes on a warning from the Mexican minister in London about Archibaldo Roberts, who has raised moneyand materials in England by claiming to own a land grant in Texas. Roberts has reportedly departed for Mexico without a passport, and Letona asks the Alcaldeof Cuatro Cienegas to take proper action against Roberts if he appears as wellas against any other illegal foreigners.
